The Asian Pacific American Gun Owners Association is excited to host a range shooting event at Pro Gun Vegas. This event is open to invited participants

The event will be on Monday March 30 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the ProGun Vegas in Boulder City, NV, just south of Las Vegas.

Event Information

Join APAGOA at Pro Gun Vegas near Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday March 30 for an exciting day at the range. 

For those new to pistol shooting, APAGOA will provide comprehensive instruction on pistol safety and usage. Led by experienced instructors, beginners will receive basic guidance on pistol fundamentals and marksmanship. Students will gain confidence in their abilities and learn how to handle firearms safely and responsibly.


Schedule

  • 8:30am → Event registration open
  • 9:00 am→ Live fire starts
  • 4:30 pm → Live fire ends
  • Introductory Firearms Safety Training
    • Session 1: 9:00 am – 12:00pm
    • Session 2: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

What to Bring

  • Sunscreen and a hat.
  • Snacks and plenty of water.
  • Wear closed toed and heeled shoes.
  • No tank tops or low cut tops while on the range.
  • Ear and eye protection will be available to everyone that needs it.
  • Feel free to bring your own pistol, or try firearms provided by APAGOA and other participants.

Range Rules

  1. Treat every gun as if it is loaded
  2. Do not point your firearm at anything you are not willing to shoot or destroy. Keep all firearms pointed in a safe direction and NEVER point your firearm at anyone while on the range
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger at all times unless you have sights on your target and ready to shoot your target
  4. Know your target and what is behind it. You are responsible for every bullet that comes out of your firearm
  5. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times while on the range
  6. When sharing a range with other shooters, be sure to be shooting from the same distance and the firing line will be fixed.
  7. When you need to move down range, make sure everyone on the range is aware of your intent and be sure that everyone has their firearms unloaded and clear before moving down range
  8. While people are down range, do not handle any firearm until everyone is back on the firing line and everyone agrees to make the range hot again
  9. Range safety officers have final say on the range
