While we are celebrating our Lunar New Year, the Year of the Rabbit, our hearts go out to the victims of the terrible acts of violence that took place in Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay this past week. We grieve with our brothers and sisters as we deepen our resolve and commitment to support our communities, and celebrate the courage of the heroes who prevented further tragedy at Alhambra.
The APAGOA community and leadership team hosted a call on Friday, January 27, at 12:00 pm Pacific on Zoom. Mental health advocate Rob Pincus from Walk the Talk America joined us to help us begin the healing process together. We talked about what happened, and started talking about ways to implement meaningful change.
See below for a video recording of portions of the discussions.
