Understanding and Reporting Hate Crimes

In one of our events, APAGOA member @bunny_operator talked about how important it is to understand what defines a hate crimes and why it’s important to report them.

On August 22, 2021 I was invited by the Asian Pacific American Gun Owners Association (APAGOA) to assist with their new shooter event and provide public education on hate crimes.  The presentation was well received, so I felt that it was appropriate to release a video on the subject to help anyone else.

Note that due to the location of the original presentation the data shown is California and Asian demographic specific; however, it can be adapted for other locales and demographics.  You’ll need to research your local state’s statistics and the specific demographics that you need from the federal sites listed.
